Lonnie Morris, CPA
Lonnie Morris, CPA received a BBA in Accounting and a BBA in Management from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MS in Accounting: Income Taxes from the University of North Texas.
Lonnie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and the Dallas Chapter of TSCPA.
He was the 1983-1984 Chairman of The Taxpayer Education Committee, Dallas Chapter, TSCPA and the 1984-1985 Board of Directors, Dallas Chapter, TSCPA
He is the founder of the Plano CPA Study Group. He has been a commentator on income tax matters for television and radio. (Previously on WFAA-TV, KDFW-TV,Tele-cable “Weekday” with Cindy Dupree, FERA “Karen Denard Evening Talk Show”, KXVI, KAAM and KAFM).
Lonnie was previously a tax tip columnist for the Plano Star Courier, he has been a speaker on tax matters to civic and professional organizations, was the recipient of the 1984 “Meritorious Community Service Award” presented by Roscoe Egger, (then Commissioner of the IRS, Washington, DC) and he is the lead instructor and coordinator of community income tax seminars.
Kathy Smith, CPA
Kathy earned her BBA in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin at Madison
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), the Dallas Chapter of TSCPA. Kathy is also a Member of the Plano/Richardson CPA Study Group
Kathy is in charge of all business clients (Corporations, S-Corporations, Partnerships, LLC), she prepares and reviews corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns, she is a QuickBooks Advisor. Additionally, Kathy supervises and trains staff accountants and paraprofessionals and she also participates in the management of the firm
Ray Corbin, CPA
Ray Corbin, CPA received a BS in Economics from Texas Tech University, an MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas and an Advanced Accounting Degree from SMU-Dallas
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accounts (TSCPA) and of the Dallas Chapter of the TSCPA. Additionally, Ray is a member of the Plano/Richardson CPA Study Group and of Rotary International
Ray is responsible for the preparation of Individual, Partnership, Corporation, and Trust Tax Returns and handles Tax Research Issues for the firm.
Marti Ryan, EA
Marti Ryan received her BBA in Accounting from Niagara University, Niagara Falls, NY
She is an Enrolled Agent (EA) with the IRS and a Seasonal Consultant with the tax departments of Earnst & Young in Dallas with Accor Economy Lodging in Dallas. In addition to Texas, she also handles tax preparation in New York, Kentucky, and California.
Marti handles preparation of Individual, Partnership, Corporation, S-Corporation and Trust Tax Returns as well as preparation of Payroll Tax Returns and Pension Accounting for our firm.
